My team and I had an enjoyable morning engaging with members of the Larchmont-Mamaroneck community today. We were encouraged to find that my demand for transparency, accountability and equity in our school system resonated with so many local residents.
Many people expressed concern about recent incidents of racism and bullying that have come to light and have been poorly handled by our school administrators.
If I am elected to represent our community on the Board of Education on May 21st, I will work to hold the superintendent and school administrators to account. We deserve a district that upholds the values of our wider community.
I am looking forward to more opportunities to listen to the views of my Larchmont-Mamaroneck neighbors in the next two weeks.
The children and residents of the Mamaroneck School District deserve better from our schools.
